Before reaching the stage of ‘old soul’ (End of journey), the soul has been evolving for a long time. The stages of soul’s evolution are as follows.
“Infant Soul” – The soul understands about physical existence, life and death, and the need for nurturing.
“Child Soul” – In this stage the soul learn about society, culture and community and also understand the need for structure, belonging, and playing a role.
“Young Soul” – In this stage the soul understand about the free will, self-determination, taking charge of its own destiny and rising to the challenge.
“Mature Soul” – This is the stage where the soul learns about co-existence and interrelatedness, taking responsibility for its relationships, honouring difference and otherness.
Once the above stages has been passed, the soul gets ready to travel its final journey. The final journey is to end the reincarnation and unite with the greater order.
Returning to great order or oneness does not mean fading out of existence or dissolving into nothingness. It means that the soul completes its adventure as a unique earthly individual to become a completely realised self.
