On the 30th of December Jay Lavery shared an Amazing video on his Facebook profile with his close friends. Initially, the video was only enjoyed by LaVey’s Facebook friends. He never expected that this video will be shared throughout the world.
You can find the video below, but before anything, read his story.
The New York Farmer uploaded the video of him dancing to Sia’s song ‘Cheap thrills’ while he is attending to his usual routine in the barn.
He likes to be entertained and this is his usual behavior. he explained to The Huffington Post. He also said that he frequently does “Funny things,” which he shares on Facebook. However, the only thing that was different this time was the crazy number of people who were eventually going to see it.
As of now, the video has gone viral and has been viewed more than 12 million times.
The video was really enjoyable and funny. However, that’s was not the only reason to watch the video. There is a story that goes with it.
He mentioned down below the video:
“It’s that time of the year for the Lets Move Challenge. Dancing is how I stay warm in the barn and I never know when I’m going to break out into a dance. But what most people don’t know is that 15 years ago I had a traumatic back injury that caused me to have several back surgeries including a discectomy and a spinal fusion and never ending back pain. Dancing along with yoga and meditation are my only alternatives to pain medication. So I hope this can inspire anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.”
Apart from his dancing act, He has given a clear message to everyone.
“I hope this can inspire anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.”
He has also shared his opinion with huffing post as mentioned below.
“While he said he is thrilled that his video may have inspired the millions of people who have viewed it, he hopes viewers might also tune into the farm’s mission — to help bring about an American food system that is more sustainable once they learn more about the man behind the moves.”
“You were given life; it is your duty (and also your entitlement as a human being) to find something beautiful within life, no matter how slight.”
