A raccoon is the definition of a rascal: it’s tiny, curious, likes to steal food, and is constantly seeking mischief. And one couple recently discovered that these cute little critters are notorious for crashing picture shoots!
Sarah and Zach, a newlywed couple, were taking their wedding photographs in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park when something unexpected occurred. A bunch of raccoons sprang out of the bushes and scurried directly into the frame before fleeing!
Sarah and Zach, newlyweds, enjoyed their wedding picture session in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco when something unexpected occurred.
Five gorgeous furry bandits appeared and immediately grabbed the stage from the newlyweds.
A bunch of raccoons disrupted the picture session!
Photographer Kathryn White knew just what to do and began photographing Zach and Sarah with the raccoon family, which turned out to be incredibly charming. It nearly looks like a Disney movie scene!
The photographer remarked in an interview that she had never seen anything like it in her ten years of wedding photography.
“We were taken aback when we saw the family of raccoons approaching us!” Kathryn said. “At first, I was concerned since raccoons are nocturnal and often aggressive, so I urged my bride and groom to stay away, but the raccoons continued approaching us attentively and appeared nice enough!”
“I began photographing the interaction, and then they walked away from us on the walkway, laughing at the absurdity of it all… What are the possibilities, after all?!” the photographer added. “We all agreed it was like a real-life Disney moment,’ and it had to be a positive omen,” said the group.
We’re confident the pair will remember this special day for the rest of their lives!
