Recently, amateur photographer Anil Prabhakar caught a spectacular view of a conservation forest in Borneo. While on a safari with his friends, the photographer stumbled upon the forest warden who was waving the orangutans’ sworn enemy snakes out of the river. When Prabhakar was about to take a picture, an orangutan extended his hand to the man and apparently wanted to help him. Healthy photos quickly go viral, and people are amazed by the act of kindness of the orangutan.
Recently, a photographer went viral for his touching photos showing a man helping a man in a river
Someone told him there was a snake in the river. The warden went there and removed the bushes. An orangutan came to the banks and watched what he was doing. Then he came near and gave his hand, Prabhakar recalled.
The photographer said the forest warden refused to take the orangutan’s hand, saying he did not want to touch an unfamiliar wild animal. “The warden just moved on. When I asked him why, he said: This is a wild animal, not something we know. But they need to protect them. ”
Forest Warden, who participated in the Healthy Encounter, is working with the non-profit organization Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. His and his 400 employees’ job is to protect the habitat of orangutans threatened by rapid deforestation.
Founded in 1991, the Foundation currently cares for over 650 orangutans. “By protecting orangutans in their natural habitats, other plants and animals are fully protected. Like wildlife, it is important for humans to protect their wildlife habitat, ”says the Foundation’s website.
There are 160 snake species living in the tropical rainforests of Borneo, many of which pose a serious threat to orangutans. To protect these animals, the workers of the organization are trying to clear rivers of snakes and teach orangutans to be alert to the danger in the wild.
With the help of rubber snakes, staff help orphan orangutans learn to be aware of snakes. Watch the adorable video of the teaching process below.
