Artist, Yulia Derevschikova who lives in Khabarovsk, Russia is a passionate felted wool artist that has created the cutest woodland animals that seem very lifelike and out of a Disney movie. She has been doing this since 2015 and over the years she has been able to create hundreds of these unique adorable woolen animals and it looks like she won’t stop designing any time soon.
The artist uses a felted wool technique to create these life-like animals. The process involves threading and weaving. The felted wool technique adds extra puffiness to the wool and it gradually turns into a soft and fluffy texture which is quite easy when making these adorable critters!. This artist has a special talent for creating these exotic forest creatures out of wool.
Yulia definitely has a knack for creating these animals and an eye for spotting cuteness despite her art having a unique and dynamic style. The process of making a woolen animal takes great dedication as it takes around 20 hours to make one animal.
Her animals have a great mix of realness and touch of aesthetics. The fur to its features looks almost life-like and you can’t resist looking into their adorable cute eyes. When you take a look at these animals or even hold on to them a whole range of emotions just sweeps over and you come across a huge wave of emotions; a dire need to hug them tightly and desperate need to never let them go!.
Looking at her amazing work, it’s no surprise that this artist has so many loving fans. Yulia has even started selling these adorable creatures to other cities and claims that people get ever so excited when they receive these bundles of joy.“The positive emotions I get when I deliver an order to the customer are very valuable to me, it gives me inspiration,” the artist told Bored Panda. Her hard work and dedication have gained her a lot of recognition around the internet and we hope she will continue to create her adorable little creatures!
